“ Stopped in for lunch and can’t wait to come back for dinner. I had the adana lunch platter takeout and the lamb was so flavorful and juicy. The white sauce was herbaceous and perfectly complemented the meat. The bread was fluffy and chewy. I also loved the rice pudding, it was my first time having it and it was delicious! Overall, everything was extremely fresh and flavorful. The man at the counter was very friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable, and told me about other things on the menu I might like when I told him it was my first time there. The menu has a lot of options that I think both vegetarians and meat lovers will enjoy. The restaurant is very pretty inside and has some outdoor seating out front as well. I highly recommend the stop to try something new. I’m looking forward to coming back! ”

“ Here is another great restaurant many people may not know is less them half an hour from their home. Lezzet is a Turkish restaurant with a wide range of food choices. The biggest start is Umut, our waiter for the night. His service was incredible, very happy, educational, and tentative. Lezzet has moved to one of my top ten restaurants in Long Island. The meat was fresh and cooked to perfection. My wife had a grilled Branzino over salad. 10 out of 10. I had the mix grill so much meat. I love this place. I highly recommended it. Please try it out and ask for Umut. ”
“ Checked out Lezzet Mediterranean Grill in Smithtown and it did not disappoint. We started with warm Turkish bread, which came with a trio of dips — haydari, babaganoush, and hummus. Every single one was packed with flavor and super fresh. We also tried the crispy calamari with marinara — perfectly fried and super tender inside. Definitely a standout. For mains, we had the lamb skewers and beef gyro, both served with Turkish rice, grilled veggies, and this really good creamy yogurt dill sauce on the side. Everything was tender, juicy, and so well seasoned. From the presentation to the flavors, everything felt authentic and really well done. If you’re into Mediterranean food, this spot is a must-visit. ”

“ Stopped in with the wife to a local spot we’d heard good things about and had been meaning to check out, my only regret is that it took us that long. We started our meal with some breads and a sampler of their dips. I could make a meal of the dips alone. They were all great, but the roasted eggplant and tomato dip gave me eggplant parm vibes, I couldn’t get enough. We next got a mixed pide. It was described as the Turkish version of pizza and lived up to its reputation. Delicious. We could have stopped there, but made the happy “mistake” of ordering entreees. The gyro platter was large and delicious with flavorful meat and delicious pickled vegetables. We also had an order of the lamb in yogurt sauce which came on a bed of what I’d describe as almost a gnocchi. Such a unique and flavorful dish. My wife loves dessert and they had a dessert counter out front with all fresh made desserts. We had to try a pumpkin dessert as well as chocolate baklava. Both were fresh and delicious. This was one of my first times having Turkish food and I can’t wait to go back and explore the rest of the menu. Long Island lacks in true ethnic food but with places like this out there is evidence it’s there if you look hard enough. ”

“ Came here for birthday party last night for iftar hour with a friends.Delicious food & fantastic service! Erkan, our server, took great care of our table of 13. We ordered food & drinks and deserts. Erkan was working yesterday for iftar hour he is amazing, he jammed the entire place with a smile! So busy and he didn't get flustered once. He was so kind and extremely accommodating to our needs. The staff were friendly. Has really nice indoor/outdoor seating and service. Excellent server. Wonderful ambiance. Highly recommend! ”
